Whether the world is cruel or good?
Life is one of the most strange roads I have ever seen. I often heard motivational speakers say it is your perception of what life is all about. If you think it is easy then it is easy and if you feel it is difficult then it is difficult. I used to wonder how this can be true. How can the world depend on my perception? But finally, I got the answer while reading Yogacara Buddhist philosophy. According to them all objects in this world depend on your thinking. You can never know the true knowledge of an object because your thinking is dependent on your perception whereas true knowledge must be independent of any kind of perception. Let me give you an example if you were born on an unexplored island and you were given a chair. Then you would never know it is known as a chair and what is its usage. In fact, you could use it in a different sense. So the true knowledge of a chair is unknown, its definition depends on your thinking which depends on your perception. So this world is both good and bad, it all depends on you how you want to see the world.
